In Network Marketing Today it is an open secret that to achieve more you have to become more.

Of course every single person who is building a network marketing business has an idea about which kind of business partners they really want: They sure want the persistent and clever person who is making contacts easy and who will get many partners and customers in very quickly.

So if we know what we want, why does it mostly take time to actually achieve it?

We all keep talking about the law of attraction, of personal development, of learning the right skills, etc

However there is one key question you will have to ask yourself in this context:

Would I Like to Be in Business With Myself?

• Yes, this is correct and the question is not easy to deal with. You need to take a hard look at yourself, not through any soft-focus lense,  but straight and true. Look yourself in the mirror and look into your eyes and ask yourself that question: Would I like to be in business with myself.
• Consider it point for point – why should people want to be in business with you? Make note of your strengths and weaknesses – not so much professionally, but as the person who you are. It it tough? Yes, may be it is, but it is a very good way to assess what is happening around you.
• After you have found out who you are and  who you want to be, start working on yourself. It is a personal decision you need to take and it will be very much worth while. As a result the world around you will change.

It is a fact in the industry of network marketing, that people do not join your opportunity – people join you! They join you because they want to be around you, they join you because you are a role model for them, they join you because they like and perhaps admire you and many for other reasons.

This reflects, why building relationships is the basis for success in network marketing today. Of course we make the best of efforts and get informed as to which business we want to build, but who knows even having done the best of diligence a company may go bust for which ever reasons.

Provided you have built your team according to optimal criteria of human interaction: love and mutual understanding and trust, you will have built it for good. Your  team members, who actually joined YOU will happily brainstorm with you where to go next should such an adversity happen.

Building yourself, building the best relationships you can with the people who you really relate with, is the best long-term security you can have for yourself and your team.

When looking around on the internet the mass of MLM and other marketers who talk “hype” about their business is overwhelming. Let’s look at this analytically:

Basically MLM and many other types of business – no matter if affiliate, direct selling or what so ever – are designed that people join together to work on a common goal. But – is their company their goal? Of course not – every single person who joins such a business ultimately does so because they want to improve their lives.

What happens when their marketing strategy  is “hype” around the opportunity? There will be lots of people who do the same. Potential prospects get confused. Even if they are talking with someone they might  not understand as newbies that p&psif they join they rather ought to join the person they are talking with – they might be hitting on an identical link and then sign up because they just feel like it and what the person they were talking with said  had made sense to them. And people who act like that are likely to “hop around” from one opportunity to the next too!

Then of course many companies forbid in their p&ps that people actually market on the internet or use their name without special permission, etc. – ups – what a problem – you may end up being dismissed once you actually earn money! Contract stipulations are contained to be used!!

You have an option: “brand yourself” – firsts you are starting to position yourself as an expert. By doing so you learn a lot yourself and you get better by the day at what you are doing. If you have deficits of knowledge in some areas – get educated – it gives you the background that you will be able to educate your prospective business partners.

Most people today know about the law of attraction – it works! So do all you can to become the person with whom others want to be. Become the magnet that attracts people! No hype, no nothing can do this for you. It’s got to be YOU!.

Once you have established a relationship with people it is inevitable that you will be asked what you are doing and people will actually ask you if you would be ok having them in your business!

Of course this is a process. Most people don’t see that this process can be handled best in a like minded mastermind group of supportive people. Some people actually see this and it is those who become leaders in due course.

Another reason why it is a necessity to brand yourself is that you have to be the central figure in your business – the mother hen so to speak. Why? Let’s assume the company you are with goes bust (of course we hope it won’t) – if you have a tight relationship with your people, if you are a  true leader, it will be no problem for you to brainstorm with your team where to go, which other company to choose so that your income will simply continue.

That’s kind of important, don’t you think? After all a good MLM business is designed to pay not only you, but also your kids and grand kids – therefore seeing the “big picture” is of vital importance!

The other day I read a sentence  which struck me:

"You cannot sit on the road to success for if you do, you will get runover"   Anonymous

This is so true, especially when it comes to MLM. You only need to go  and surf the internet and you will quickly realize that this industry is full of hype. Advertising business opportunities where you get not only something, but “all” for nothing – people claiming that they will build your downline if you only sign up. This is weird – just look at the law of attraction in this context – somebody just singing up expecting to have his downline built – doesn’t this equal “sitting on the road to success”?? It is the kind of situation where lazy bodies “road sitters” are attracted and they sit pretty fat if you ask me!

It seems hard to believe that there are people who actually buy into all these offers and of course as a result the internet is brimming full with people who never ever have success in their network marketing business. First they started it with the wrong attitude of expecting something for nothing and second nobody ever told them what to do instead – it really is a situation of “having been run over”.

It is about time that we wake up when surfing the internet. All the parameters have to be applied to an opportunity on the internet which we would no doubt apply when looking for a business offline in “the real world”.

Of course we will read the contract there so that we know what to expect. First we need to know what kind of work we are expected to perform, at which level, which qualifications are required, what the boss will expect from us so that he will keep us on.

And most certainly we will want to know what we will be paid for the work we are supposed to do.

Very likely if we don’t know the company  we will also make some inquiries if they are decent people so that we can expect a job without extra risk.

If only these 3 parameters would be taken into account when looking for a business on the internet far less trouble would arise. Yet on the internet and in particular when it is MLM which is the topic, most people seem to have a magic switch which stops them from thinking straight – what’s more, quite a number of people when questioned regarding these three points will be top lofty and consider you negative and that for the simple reason of suggesting they apply common sense! Isn’t it absurd?

When you have decided that you want to look for a network marketing business the best you can do is to get yourself educated well right from start. This will save you years of failure and frustration.

We are so used to being immersed in all the news and information  brainwash on how bad the economy is, germs circling around and lots of other negative crap    which  is spread everywhere. We don’t even realise that our thought pattern has adapted to it way back. We tend to tune into the negative chatter when we meet up with people or discuss the present situation wherever opportunity arises.  What we need to become aware of, however, this does not serve us in manifesting our dreams. Is not a good use of energy. It is a huge handicap when you want to “own your life”.

Such actions have to be be dismissed from our thoughts and from our lives to make room for our creative connection with universe.

We think in pictures. Look at the coy carps on the left. They are luck tokens in some parts of the world. When you will give them second thoughts after having left this blog you will not recite a text on coy carps in your mind you have read on Wikipedia  – no, this picture will appear in your mind’s eye – you will see them!

You for sure know that some thoughts and behaviors hold you back, are obstacles on your path of life. May be you health is not as good as it could be due to your lousy lifestyle, or you have forgotten your imagination and replaced it with the negative crap you keep hearing. 

If your reflection continuously wanders backwards and you are stuck in wondering why this or that happened in your life  your mental energy is wasted as your past is history and you cannot change it. It is in thought, as it is in the outward world: You can go either right or left – you cannot go right and left. You can walk up a hill or down a hill, but you cannot walk up and down at the same time. So when you thoughts are trapped by the past you cannot create your future at the same time.

The same of course applies to your business/home business – when you keep wondering why this or that doesn’t work out or why you again and again failed to sponsor a new partner into your network marketing team  -  again – your energy is trapped by these thoughts and your creativity is blocked which can show you the way forward.

You need to change this habit. You need to focus on what you want. You need to give yourself a holy promise to “think forward” to reach your goals. Very likely you are tuned to be a person who keeps a promise. By linking the achieving of your goal with a promise to yourself the focus on your goal will become much clearer. To make it a step more specific give this promise to someone who you are accountable to in this respect. Put your promise in writing to make it tangible.

Such a promise will take your life, your focus and your results to the next level. It will propel you forward.
“You create the freedom of manifesting your dreams by stopping the habit of turning back to the old, negative conditions you are trying to get rid of” – this is what I have read recently!

Keeping your thoughts clean certainly takes commitment and repetitive practice, but it is definitely worth while.

It will be the way to take your life and business to the level you don’t even dare to dream yet. Be invited to dream. Be invited to dream big!

Some people are so focused on looking at the closed door that they don’t see others opening for them!

Have you ever met people and talked to them about what you are doing? Have you found out that they were actually hoping to earn more money to get bye more easily? And yet to your surprise they have said NO?

This happens when people come from a position of lack. They have a belief system which doesn’t permit them to “deserve” more so they say no, or perhaps they even have just a bunch of excuses – yet excuses are a way to say no. This is a matter of experience – they do not even dare to say no as excuses are a way of making things look better for themselves as they just said before, that they would actually want more money. By way of excuses they convince themselves that there are enough reasons not to be able to do whatever you offered them.

As Tom Schreiter says: It wouldn’t be “no” for rich people. They don’t refuse opportunity. They are not programmed to look for the reasons why something won’t work. They are conditioned to look for reasons why something can work. There are always hundreds of reasons why an opportunity will not work, but also hundreds of reasons why the opportunity will work. It is your choice where you put your focus on.

In our society many people are conditioned for lack for one reason or other. To help overcome this handicap you can join a mastermind group which will help you overcome this obstacle. Studying and discussing a personal programming which is an obstacle together with like minded people is the best way of re-writing your program. This is a secure way to achieve success!
