Network marketing today

…how do they relate? Let’s look at real life today and let’s be honest.

The world   is changing at a rapid pace and change even keeps accelerating.

• We have come from hundreds of years of being either independent or totally dependent. Independent either through inherited wealth and status or else through being a landlord and farmer or a trades man who made his living through proudly working the trade of the family or the one that was learned. Dependent as a servant, slave, owned peasant and the like.
• Then the industrial age dawned which as any major change in society brought not only added opportunities but also a shift in wealth/poverty and status. It was in the sixties of the past century when general income reached a level that people considered themselves well-off. However as everything in life also this period gave way to the natural cycle of up and down.

It was in those days when the idea of network marketing dawned. So by now it should be quite established in the minds of people, however it is not.

Like in any independent business or trade the scope of variety is so big and of course also the “hang-ons” have discovered this new branch which has made it difficult to create an excellent reputation. Adventurers and hang-ons tend to get into everything which can be done at low cost in their constant quest of finding something that might give them and income for nothing and network marketing requires none of the investments you normally have when you start your own business.

Let’s look at the essence. What do most people want in life? they want happiness and an income that gives them a life-style of freedom. Freedom to enjoy life, to be with family and friends, to travel, to have a lovely home – whatever, let your imagination play…

Can you have all of this in a job? Not easily nowadays and not really in the best of days either. Of course there is always a small group who will make it anyways, but that is not the major part of the population.

In network marketing today:

• do you have to work? Definitely.
• does it take time to become established? Definitely
• do you need to be educated? Definitely – Apprenticeship on the job!
• do you have a long-term perspective? Definitely
• do you create a life-time income? Definitely, provided you do it until then

And: you don’t have a boss, you don’t have a 9 to 5 job, you will not be fired (instead you can fire your boss at some stage), you have no limitation as to how far you want to grow it, you can have success at network marketing today by doing what is required.

Network Marketing Today is both:

A Blessing – you are running your own business

A Curse – you have to do it yourself (none kicks you to be active)

Network Marketing Today is all about YOU, your will to achieve your goals and your motivation to do the required work. If you do create success in network marketing today you will be living a life you could only dream of whilst you were an employee.

Planning? Of course! Network marketing is a business as any other!

In the last few posts we have talked a bit about the importance of personal development so let’s skip that now.

What is the most important asset in a network marketing business? It’s your prospects. So how about “planning” your prospects. No this is not a joke.

Part of your planning has to be, to determine what sort of prospect you want to attract. The more detail you give this thought the better.

There are those who simply say – I want my prospects to be like me or like… – that’s easy if you have references like that.

However seeing it long-term, as network marketing is a long-term business and should be designed to pay not only you but also your children and even your grand children, a blending of a number of different qualities might prove a definite bonus for team building.

In network marketing today, where knowledge about the personality colours is not a secret, we are very much aware that people who match different colours, have different strengths and weaknesses.

Let’s give network marketing an overview:

you need those who are good at sponsoring, others who are good at training the team and giving support, but you also need products to be turned and you need to have those who know precisely how a commission plan is used best to maximize profits. And of course you don’t want the business to be totally boring but fun, with new people being attracted all the time as things are “on the move”.

You see – when you really give “planning your prospects” a closer thought there is work to be done in the workshop of your mind, the center of your imagination where your thoughts eventually are blended with passion so that they can materialise!

We are so used to being immersed in all the news and information  brainwash on how bad the economy is, germs circling around and lots of other negative crap    which  is spread everywhere. We don’t even realise that our thought pattern has adapted to it way back. We tend to tune into the negative chatter when we meet up with people or discuss the present situation wherever opportunity arises.  What we need to become aware of, however, this does not serve us in manifesting our dreams. Is not a good use of energy. It is a huge handicap when you want to “own your life”.

Such actions have to be be dismissed from our thoughts and from our lives to make room for our creative connection with universe.

We think in pictures. Look at the coy carps on the left. They are luck tokens in some parts of the world. When you will give them second thoughts after having left this blog you will not recite a text on coy carps in your mind you have read on Wikipedia  – no, this picture will appear in your mind’s eye – you will see them!

You for sure know that some thoughts and behaviors hold you back, are obstacles on your path of life. May be you health is not as good as it could be due to your lousy lifestyle, or you have forgotten your imagination and replaced it with the negative crap you keep hearing. 

If your reflection continuously wanders backwards and you are stuck in wondering why this or that happened in your life  your mental energy is wasted as your past is history and you cannot change it. It is in thought, as it is in the outward world: You can go either right or left – you cannot go right and left. You can walk up a hill or down a hill, but you cannot walk up and down at the same time. So when you thoughts are trapped by the past you cannot create your future at the same time.

The same of course applies to your business/home business – when you keep wondering why this or that doesn’t work out or why you again and again failed to sponsor a new partner into your network marketing team  -  again – your energy is trapped by these thoughts and your creativity is blocked which can show you the way forward.

You need to change this habit. You need to focus on what you want. You need to give yourself a holy promise to “think forward” to reach your goals. Very likely you are tuned to be a person who keeps a promise. By linking the achieving of your goal with a promise to yourself the focus on your goal will become much clearer. To make it a step more specific give this promise to someone who you are accountable to in this respect. Put your promise in writing to make it tangible.

Such a promise will take your life, your focus and your results to the next level. It will propel you forward.
“You create the freedom of manifesting your dreams by stopping the habit of turning back to the old, negative conditions you are trying to get rid of” – this is what I have read recently!

Keeping your thoughts clean certainly takes commitment and repetitive practice, but it is definitely worth while.

It will be the way to take your life and business to the level you don’t even dare to dream yet. Be invited to dream. Be invited to dream big!
