There is this big contrast between some people who seem to be having massive success in network marketing today and the others who keep struggling in spite of lots of effort.

The difference between them is attitude!

Just recently I made a YouTube on attitude where I sum up about it – you might want to check it out.

Attitude is a personal quality which  to a large extent is programmed by our environment from early childhood onwards. However, once we grow up we have it in our hands to replace those parts of our basic programming which we find do not serve our purpose in life.

Attitude can be “re-programmed” too. It is a process you cannot do it by pressing a button, but once you are alerted to the need of it and you actually want it you can do it.

The first step will be to spot the bits you want to change. Are you perhaps one of those people who in a conversation with others find it easy to agree on the surface by saying “yes, BUT”? I give you an example. I show you a way how to create leads in network marketing today. You listen carefully and then you reply: Yes, I perfectly understand where you are coming from, but don’t you think I could do it that and that way? Hm – as a matter if fact you have only humored me,  however, you  have said NO between the lines.

This kind of attitude is not very obvious and most people will consider it charming behaviour and  interaction, yet it is limiting. It limits your willingness of being coachable. Does this serve you? Certainly not!

Once you are alerted to the topic you will start noticing it when you are interacting. At first perhaps a little annoyed, then over time you will grin and know you have “caught yourself” once again in the old pattern. You will start noticing the same behaviour in many others and eventually you will stop it.

Wow – you have grown! Spot the next handicap in your programming and start working on it.

You may say this is hard – yes, may be it is, but it is very well worth your time.

If you are willing to accept support in this venture find yourself a mastermind group of like-minded people.Your progress will be a lot faster and it will be more fun to share and learn, as you won’t feel alone in the desert with a task which is a challenge.

The best thing, if you are stepping into this process because you want to have success at network marketing, would be to join a mastermind group of network marketers – that will cover two topics in one stroke. You will grow and you can improve other skills at the same time, no matter in which business you are.

In Network Marketing Today when worked online lots of people are side tracked by offers of quick cash – but

Quick Cash = Quick Crash

no more no less. Well perhaps at times even less as many of these offers are invalid.

Such an offer may side-track people to such an extent that they even loose sight of their dream. As a normal person with the heart in the right place you likely can’t sleep when you know very well that you  have stolen someone’s dream. So you won’t do it. But there are those who do not have this kind of awareness.

Unlike a job, which in a way is quick cash  too, as you exchange your time for money, network marketing is a business. It is a business that can pay you and your children and children’s children for the rest of their lives, –provided you choose the right company – a "5 Pillars" company. There is more on 5 pillars on my blog and of course even more in the Free Training we offer.

Too many people think they need to "build it fast". It in a way seems to be a handicap of societies today that all needs to be fast, fast, fast!

The other day I talked with a guy – he is in a binary and told me that he was placed in a spot where he has already 700 people down one leg. Well, excellent, but he was “not yet” making any money!

“Newbies” as a rule don’t understand that they are not being paid on the strong leg in a binary plan! A binary plan pays on the week leg and that is the one he will have to build himself!

Unfortunately people are blinded by that hype with the strong leg and they sign up and  as a rule it takes them a while or even longer to understand how such a plan works and how much of their effort goes down the drain!

Don’t fall for scams. Make sure you choose well and build long-term!

That is the way to achieve success in

network marketing today.

Contracts!

What are contracts in Network Marketing Today? 

The contracts are 

the Policies and Procedures!

Talking to network marketers of today you will quickly learn that only few people  ever read their policies and procedures- what a plight! This is a huge handicap for success!

Have you ever heard that somebody who invests into any kind of business will not read their contract carefully or even have it checked by a lawyer who specializes in business contracts? Not really. The reason for it is that the investments to be made are far too high to take any risk.

There is not so much difference between conventional business and network marketing today.

• In conventional business you invest lots of money and then pay back for years until you reach the break even point when you finally start  making money that actually belongs to you.
• In network marketing you are investing your time till you finally reach the point where you earn good money as you have finally reached success.

In either case the risk is the same, if you have not made sure you are in a good contract. In conventional business you might be out of business long before you reach the break even point and in network marketing you might wake up with a big bump when you finally realise that your efforts only benefitted the company you are with as they can terminate you any time as they desire to in accordance with the policies and procedures which you have never read.

You never even realised that they contained clauses like “ongoing support for your downline” or “termination at the sole discretion of the company” or “contract renewal  at the sole discretion of the company” and many more. It might even be so bad that your check stops without forewarning for any of the stated reasons or many others in fact and you only realise then the mistake you made.

Do you  start “seeing” the importance of reading your contract? Find it now and read it to at least minimize damage! If you need help say so!

On the one hand network marketing today is very simple, but on the other hand it is very complex.

It is simple as it always was as it is a people’s business and we have been giving recommendations all our lives. However, it is complex, as the personal aspect has to meld with a high-tech world, the world of using the internet.

In our days it is obvious that using the internet as a tool to market your network marketing business makes it easy to take your business world-wide. So of course you have to learn the right techniques to make this happen.

This is one place where greed and ego tend to kick in:  it is all about leads and it is all about tools – too many network marketers have an easy prey in their downlines when it comes to selling them leads and tools online – may it be through an affiliate scheme of may it be through a direct sales funnel – doesn’t matter – naive and untrained people are being taken advantage of.

Another area of course are commission plans. Modern computer technology makes it easy for companies to set up commission plans which are complex and involved – in the early days when bonus checks had to be worked out semi- automatic this would have been impossible. Computers make these calculations as per program, so no problem. The tricky part of it is the complexity of the commission plans – too many people don’t understand them or at least not completely – they are at the mercy of their uplines, especially those who understand crunching the numbers and who understand completely how to maximize the pay-plan.

As a result it happens that the advice given is not entirely unbiased and  newcomers may make a lot less money than they could make provided they had received the kind of advice that comes from the heart and has the best interest of the newcomers at heart. A huge delay and handicap if you are looking for success in building your network marketing business.

These are two examples where greed and ego can kick in  and I strongly advise to learn the details of a commission plan in network marketing today if you want to be sure that you are safe.

We are so used to being immersed in all the news and information  brainwash on how bad the economy is, germs circling around and lots of other negative crap    which  is spread everywhere. We don’t even realise that our thought pattern has adapted to it way back. We tend to tune into the negative chatter when we meet up with people or discuss the present situation wherever opportunity arises.  What we need to become aware of, however, this does not serve us in manifesting our dreams. Is not a good use of energy. It is a huge handicap when you want to “own your life”.

Such actions have to be be dismissed from our thoughts and from our lives to make room for our creative connection with universe.

We think in pictures. Look at the coy carps on the left. They are luck tokens in some parts of the world. When you will give them second thoughts after having left this blog you will not recite a text on coy carps in your mind you have read on Wikipedia  – no, this picture will appear in your mind’s eye – you will see them!

You for sure know that some thoughts and behaviors hold you back, are obstacles on your path of life. May be you health is not as good as it could be due to your lousy lifestyle, or you have forgotten your imagination and replaced it with the negative crap you keep hearing. 

If your reflection continuously wanders backwards and you are stuck in wondering why this or that happened in your life  your mental energy is wasted as your past is history and you cannot change it. It is in thought, as it is in the outward world: You can go either right or left – you cannot go right and left. You can walk up a hill or down a hill, but you cannot walk up and down at the same time. So when you thoughts are trapped by the past you cannot create your future at the same time.

The same of course applies to your business/home business – when you keep wondering why this or that doesn’t work out or why you again and again failed to sponsor a new partner into your network marketing team  -  again – your energy is trapped by these thoughts and your creativity is blocked which can show you the way forward.

You need to change this habit. You need to focus on what you want. You need to give yourself a holy promise to “think forward” to reach your goals. Very likely you are tuned to be a person who keeps a promise. By linking the achieving of your goal with a promise to yourself the focus on your goal will become much clearer. To make it a step more specific give this promise to someone who you are accountable to in this respect. Put your promise in writing to make it tangible.

Such a promise will take your life, your focus and your results to the next level. It will propel you forward.
“You create the freedom of manifesting your dreams by stopping the habit of turning back to the old, negative conditions you are trying to get rid of” – this is what I have read recently!

Keeping your thoughts clean certainly takes commitment and repetitive practice, but it is definitely worth while.

It will be the way to take your life and business to the level you don’t even dare to dream yet. Be invited to dream. Be invited to dream big!

Some people are so focused on looking at the closed door that they don’t see others opening for them!

Have you ever met people and talked to them about what you are doing? Have you found out that they were actually hoping to earn more money to get bye more easily? And yet to your surprise they have said NO?

This happens when people come from a position of lack. They have a belief system which doesn’t permit them to “deserve” more so they say no, or perhaps they even have just a bunch of excuses – yet excuses are a way to say no. This is a matter of experience – they do not even dare to say no as excuses are a way of making things look better for themselves as they just said before, that they would actually want more money. By way of excuses they convince themselves that there are enough reasons not to be able to do whatever you offered them.

As Tom Schreiter says: It wouldn’t be “no” for rich people. They don’t refuse opportunity. They are not programmed to look for the reasons why something won’t work. They are conditioned to look for reasons why something can work. There are always hundreds of reasons why an opportunity will not work, but also hundreds of reasons why the opportunity will work. It is your choice where you put your focus on.

In our society many people are conditioned for lack for one reason or other. To help overcome this handicap you can join a mastermind group which will help you overcome this obstacle. Studying and discussing a personal programming which is an obstacle together with like minded people is the best way of re-writing your program. This is a secure way to achieve success!
