image It is an open secret that in network marketing today the failure rate is above 90%. How can that be?

Most people who join a network marketing business join a network marketing opportunity as they are excited either about a product or about the chance of “owning their lives”. They sign up as they trust the person who presented the opportunity to them.

They start their work full of enthusiasm and follow the instructions they get from their sponsor, if they get any at all. Mostly it will be things like”make a list of friends and family and buy leads.

Let’s go for buying leads first – that is a treacherous way of doing anything as to be on the legal side you need to have leads who opted into YOUR offer. I someone reports you as spammer you need to be able to provide the opt in details and the opt-in IP.

Making a list of friends and family may work for some if they happen to have people around them who have a similar mindset and similar needs. It doesn’t work at all of they have their own different jobs or businesses which are totally unrelated to marketing.

Just imagine you want to have your house painted – would you  advertise for doctors to do so? Well, you may laugh but that’s just what it is if your friends and family are not at all interested in anything like network marketing it is hopeless to perhaps try and talk them into it. Just as un likely  as having a doctor paint your house.

Another big topic  will be the company you join itself.

  1. Which kind of a commission plan do they have?
  2. How many and which hoops to you have to jump through to qualify
  3. What are the policies and procedure like – are they only for the company and without consideration for you?
  4. Are their products fairly priced?

These are just 4 critical points you need to look at. Most people may require education to  be able to read a commission plan or the legal text of the contract so don’t feel bad if you are having a hard time going through this material. That is why mentoring for free is available online – an organisation of volunteers who set out to help.

You may find lots of training online on how to build a business  and there are many people who have quite good knowledge on how to work, like:

How to build relationships.well, give support to your team, help them on all levels, etc.

However, if you are an average person the best training in the world will not make you a real winner if the cards are stacked against you

and you have missed out on investigating if the company you have joined is the right background for achieving your dreams!

Smart work – there is no doubt that we have to be dedicated to whatever we do. However the old perception that hard work is giving you the income you dream of has not proved valid. Just look around you how many people are working hard and try to even work harder – it is the rare person who will make an excellent income that way.

It is the concept of “work smarter not harder” that creates success stories. A very recent example is the creator of facebook. It was an idea and of course the guys dedicated their time and effort – but it was the idea which actually was the key factor.

There is no doubt – as an employee you cannot make the kind of money as you can make when you run your own business. Why? It is very obvious. Those who employ you use your work force to make money themselves and a small share of it is your wages! They are the ones who have had the idea, who have had the courage and the gut to create a business. They for sure have a vision why they are doing it.

Do they need all the specialised knowledge that is required in their business? Nope – all they need to know is where they can “hire” or “buy” it. They hire people like you and many others who are hanging out and waiting to get a JOB [Just Over Broke]. People who have the false illusion that a job breathes security.

Where is this security? Would you mind explaining it to me?

——————-

  • If you come to the conclusion that it is time to start working smarter instead of harder there is one thing you need to bear in mind: After having created your vision of where you want to go in life make sure you get educated. Especially if you intend starting a business online. You do not have a formal education that will meet the requirements for such a business!
  • No matter what you intend to do – you will need marketing and you will have to learn to do it in the state-of-the-art way. But you may also want to learn which kind of business will be the right vehicle to let you realise your vision – your dream. Make sure you avoid the pitfalls which are around on the internet.
  • You certainly better not build a business which keeps you tied down to working constantly day after day so that success is permanent. You need a business where you can duplicate your efforts instead of exchanging time for money.

The concept of network marketing today is for sure one of the very big chances to make it in business online. To have success and to have the time after a certain period of growth, the time that will permit you to live a life you now probably can only dream of.

Make sure you start working smarter not harder – get informed.

Achievement, Hard Work or Luck?

Author: FriekeKarlovits

Achievement has been the topic of great many discussions. The question is it hard work or is it luck is a prominent one. The big conductor, Herbert von Karajan, said in one of his last interviews that a genius is made of 10% of talent and 90 % of hard work and persistence and I feel this ration pretty much applies to other achievements as well. Whenever this topic is being discussed with successful people they tell you that it was hard work. Some people seem to be having lots of luck, but the luck we see is the result, we don’t see what got them there. This applies to all areas of life and in particular if you are building a network marketing business.

For long term achievement in MLM you can’t beat hard work! In fact luck may be considered hard work too. To achieve it, it again takes hard work. You need to work on your attitude on your personal development, your professional background and education and a lot more and the resulting attraction will provide you with sustainability and growth. Needed not only in business but in any aspect of life.

It is hard work to achieve a goal and it has a lot to do with commitment and persistence. If you are “all in”, committed 100%, and you are truly dedicating yourself to your goal passionately, you are on the right track. However, if you have doubts or are not sure about your path and the directions to go, life might get a bit bumpy for you, lots of work feeling like hard labor.

Persistence and being able to face mistakes, even learning from them, as well as being able to handle rejection, and criticism will take you far. No matter how many people tell you “you can’t do it”, or “it will never work”; you carry on irrespective and move to the next steps.

Always consider and evaluate the lessons you have learned – there is no sense in making the same mistake over and over again!.

Working hard for a goal gives a lot of satisfaction and will keep a smile on your face, which again is a way to multiply your efforts.

All of a sudden luck will show up and things will fall into place: Be grateful and know “You Are There” – on the right path!

Work on Your Dream

Author: FriekeKarlovits

We have been talking about goals – a lot in fact – so why now talk about your dream?  Your dream is an expression of the soul of life of your nature.

Years back when I first met up with someone who asked me about my dreams I was a bit put out as I had left my dreams behind me like so many. Passing through the educational system with its attitude of rationalism and the request that knowledge has to be acquired at any cost, had step by step and thoroughly eliminated the dreams. Not that I was aware of it as no one ever talked about them apart from dreaming during sleep and even talking about that was not too popular in those days.

The friend who had alerted me to think about my dreams obviously had encountered many people like me who had lost their dreams altogether. He started to coach me carefully, asked me what I had wished for as IM000480a small child and in my early years at school and even then I found it hard to connect. I met other people in groups who talked about their dreams and how important they are in life and so slowly I dared to risk a thought and another one and I used my so well trained rational mind to go that way and imagine. It was a start, yet I realised that something was missing. For me my dreams at that stage were a list of ideas which appealed to me as being nice, but they didn’t impact me enough to get me going after them. When discussing the topic with like minded people I even encountered another obstacle. They kept talking about following the dreams with passion as that would make them real and tangible. Wow – what a challenge – where do you get passion from when you have lost it as a result of the conditioning you have received for years and years…

Does this situation perhaps ring a bell in you? Do you feel odd, to say the least, when somebody asks you what your dreams are? Today the topic of dreaming, of creating your vision, of working on the dreams, the vision has become a lot more popular and more and more people are at least in theory aware of this concept. There are workshops available and teams who dedicate time to this kind of work and also in good business trainings the dream and the vision have found space.

If you are new  to this kind of work I strongly suggest you get yourself a pin board which you make your dream/vision board – you can start off with small things which come to your mind which you might want or do  and which at the moment have no room in your life and as you keep looking at the board you will step by step develop an  interest and a liking for adding ideas or even change some until at some stage you will realise that you have developed a relationship with your dreams and that you actually draw them into life through your imagination, later in your thoughts, your planning. And then one or the other of the dreams on your vision board will manifest in life and  now, if it did not happen before, you can also connect with the passion you are supposed to have for your dreams.

If you feel you need coaching, support to follow this path and perhaps need to remove some old junk from the back of your mind you can pick up contact any time – let’s talk it over – the team is there and ready to give you all the help you might want and need.
