Red Personalities – Traditionally Called Choleric

….Only The Sky is the Limit….

This week it is colors again! RED RED RED…

They are just 15 % of the population and they can be recognised easily. They have somewhat of a temperament. They mostly show their colour even after a longer acquaintance – so not much guess in this case.

The motto of REDs:

Get Out of My Way!

Their Strengths are:

Being well focused and goal oriented.

Professionally Red Personalities are CEOs, Attorneys, Pilots, Military Colonels.

In network marketing they will be very likely “sponsor monsters” although they rarely have the patience to look after their team – they think everybody is like  them. In combination with other colours in the team who take care of that, like yellows, they will likely build the business big.

Reds have a forceful voice with a lot of volume and they dress for success.

What do you need to watch when dealing with a red:

They definitely don’t like indecision, chit-chat or loosing control. Since their focus is MONEY and power all you need is getting to the point by giving them a short presentation as to “where the money is”. “Bottom line” that’s all they need  to get going.

Bonding with them will take nourishing their ego, being  careful to arouse their temper – they can be rather short-tempered and impatient.  And you are not likely to teach them things as it is either their way or no way.

Their strong desire of reaching their goal will keep them on the move anyways.

Red personalities are very direct and outspoken and their impatience will not allow them much understanding for people who cannot handle this outspokenness very well, like yellows or greens.

    Hello Frieke

One thing that always makes me wonder about color recognition….does culture play a part?

In learning about Edward De Bono and the thinking hats I always had this question in the back of my mind. What do you think?

I guess Reds are those who do not suffer fools lightly.

    Thanks for Sharing

Sorry but I think your capture system is too hard for me :(

Hi Dennis – nice you follow my information – no I don’t think cultures make a real difference incolours – that’s why Ih ave also put the conventional term for that kind of personality (for the red – choleric) in the title – we have alla these characters everywhere in the world.
Hm – I am not sure what you mean about my “to hard” capture system??
