Given choice, which would you prefer – time or money?    Do you feel this is a lop-sided choice which ever way you take it? Let’s consider it for a moment:

What can you do if you have all the time in the world: You can spend time with your family and friends, enjoy  your hobbies, throw away the alarm, enjoy nature when the weather is fine – what else can you think of you’d do if time at hand was unlimited?

What can you do with plenty of money: You can travel to all the places you fancy,  buy the car of your dreams, pay for a college education for your children, have the house of your dreams, a yacht, a permanent seat at the Metropolitan Opera – what are your ideas with a constant flow of  good income?

Of course you will say – wait a minute – how can I cope with the cost of living when I have all the time at hand I want and on the other hand  how do I do and buy all I want when my time is taken by earning the big income – for me there is no choice:

If I have the time I don’t have the money and if I have the money I am short of time. A vicious circle!

There are several solutions to this problem:

1. You can have enough money in the bank to live on the interest
2. You can write a book which becomes a best seller and you live on the royalties
3. You can marry rich or have rich parents who leave you a wonderful business
4. You can build a business which gives you a recurring income

to 1: Let’s assume you need a monthly income of 2000 Dollars for all you need – let’s say you manage to invest it that it gives you 6% of interest – how much money do you need to have a monthly income of 2000 Dollars – you can work this one out!

to 2: Well I am sure you were a gifted writer already at school – how come you have not  landed your best seller yet?

to 3: Oh – I understand – you much prefer to marry the love of your life than just anyone  for the sake of money. How many people do you know personally who are “professional siblings” – hm – none?

to 4: So why not jump at number 4 – building a business to create a recurring income. You have been doing network marketing all your life – even in Kindergarten you have already promoted what you liked – a toy or a nice playground where you wanted your friends to go too. Later in life you have recommended a restaurant or a special offer to your friends and family, that way creating plenty of income for the involved business owners – however – you have never made a Dime for your efforts – why not cash on this natural talent you are having?

What is a Mastermind Group?

As per definition by Napoleon Hill it is a group of people who work together in perfect harmony to achieve a common goal. Reflecting on this I was struck by the “perfect harmony” bit.

This is the most unusual situation when people come together. As a rule when a discussion group gets together it crystallises pretty soon that some of the group are leaders, others followers, again others are against everything as a basic attitude and others are listeners who do not express an opinion of their own. The result may be heated discussions and little to no results. does this ring familiar to you?

In a mastermind group working in harmony, every participant should participate, add his or her thoughts without fear of criticism, all put in thoughts  are to be considered as to their effect, positive or negative and then left to reflection. This way energy will build up. Energy of mutual understanding, energy of reflection, of tuning into infinite intelligence, the entire group will be connected in a relaxed spirit of reflection, even meditation. This is the environment where intuitive input can happen, new thoughts can come up, resolutions which not one of the participant would have considered on their own will come up and can be adopted in mutual understanding. That way a resolution was created! Of course this approach is highly spiritual.

Yet even in practical and tangible life this principle applies. Let me give you examples:

A car is a lot more than all of its components in one place. A house is a lot more than all the building materials it requires put together. A masters degree at university is a lot more than the compiled books and lectures,…

And a long-term, solid MLM business is a lot more than the number of its team  members and their turn over. It is friendship, mutual personal development and support, a common goal which is to be achieved by working together in harmony. It is a Mastermind Group.

We are so used to being immersed in all the news and information  brainwash on how bad the economy is, germs circling around and lots of other negative crap    which  is spread everywhere. We don’t even realise that our thought pattern has adapted to it way back. We tend to tune into the negative chatter when we meet up with people or discuss the present situation wherever opportunity arises.  What we need to become aware of, however, this does not serve us in manifesting our dreams. Is not a good use of energy. It is a huge handicap when you want to “own your life”.

Such actions have to be be dismissed from our thoughts and from our lives to make room for our creative connection with universe.

We think in pictures. Look at the coy carps on the left. They are luck tokens in some parts of the world. When you will give them second thoughts after having left this blog you will not recite a text on coy carps in your mind you have read on Wikipedia  – no, this picture will appear in your mind’s eye – you will see them!

You for sure know that some thoughts and behaviors hold you back, are obstacles on your path of life. May be you health is not as good as it could be due to your lousy lifestyle, or you have forgotten your imagination and replaced it with the negative crap you keep hearing. 

If your reflection continuously wanders backwards and you are stuck in wondering why this or that happened in your life  your mental energy is wasted as your past is history and you cannot change it. It is in thought, as it is in the outward world: You can go either right or left – you cannot go right and left. You can walk up a hill or down a hill, but you cannot walk up and down at the same time. So when you thoughts are trapped by the past you cannot create your future at the same time.

The same of course applies to your business/home business – when you keep wondering why this or that doesn’t work out or why you again and again failed to sponsor a new partner into your network marketing team  -  again – your energy is trapped by these thoughts and your creativity is blocked which can show you the way forward.

You need to change this habit. You need to focus on what you want. You need to give yourself a holy promise to “think forward” to reach your goals. Very likely you are tuned to be a person who keeps a promise. By linking the achieving of your goal with a promise to yourself the focus on your goal will become much clearer. To make it a step more specific give this promise to someone who you are accountable to in this respect. Put your promise in writing to make it tangible.

Such a promise will take your life, your focus and your results to the next level. It will propel you forward.
“You create the freedom of manifesting your dreams by stopping the habit of turning back to the old, negative conditions you are trying to get rid of” – this is what I have read recently!

Keeping your thoughts clean certainly takes commitment and repetitive practice, but it is definitely worth while.

It will be the way to take your life and business to the level you don’t even dare to dream yet. Be invited to dream. Be invited to dream big!

There are four elements of the thought process which are beyond our active control. You can adapt to them, but not control them.

1.) Infinite Intelligence

The higher power which ever way you may call it. You cannot discipline it yet you can tune your thought pattern in a way that you can tap it in a way. We all know that the subconscious mind cannot be controlled in the way as we do our conscious thought process, however, it is the connecting link between our conscious mind and Infinite Intelligence. As it acts on the dominating thoughts of the conscious mind this is the way we can take influence on our communication with Infinite Intelligence.

2.) The Subconscious Mind

Programming of the subconscious mind cannot be done by giving it orders – no the only way are desires charged with emotion. The subconscious mind does snot discriminate however – it only recognises emotion, cannot tell however, is it positive or negative. It will carry out the instructions of the negative emotions just as readily as those with a positive charge. It is therefore a necessity to practise hygiene of thought – become proficient at keeping those thoughts focused in our mind and emotion which we want to materialise

3.) Sixth Sense / Telepathy

This is the broadcasting and receiving station for thoughts. Thoughts are things – vibrations and, as the frequencies of mobile phones, TV, radio and more travel through the ethers and can be received by the appropriate devices, also the vibrations of thought can be received when our mind is tuned to an exceptional state of perception. A mastermind group will definitely be of help in the process.

4.) The Five Senses

Our normal five senses: seeing, smelling, tasting, hearing and touching when looked at in a more specific way turn out to be deceptive as they work within certain given parameters. Take a film, where the wheels of a moving train all of a sudden seemingly move backwards or take object which are heated to different temperatures – when touching the skin one and the same object at one and the same temperature may at first appear cold when applied to the skin and  only a short while later may be perceived as warm when applied after and ice cube which was a lot colder. These tricks can be tried with any of the senses and demonstrates that you need to be careful when trusting your senses.

It is small wonder that personal development is such an important factor, that finding a mastermind group for support is such an important factor, that learning principles which can be grasped in spite of all these challenges is such an important factor. To succeed in life and in business we cannot go forward on make believe and assumptions. We have to learn to structure ourselves – we have to learn

“How to Think and not What to Think”

as Michael Dlouhy repeatedly stresses in his trainings. This challenge can be mastered with consistent training, at no cost – it takes your time and dedication though!
